Gear Up Weekend: Increased Bandit gear & Badass Psychos

Gearbox have announced that another Gear Up Weekend will take place on Borderlands 2 between May 10th and May 13th, in preparation for the release of Krieg the Psycho on May 14th.

There will be increased drops for Bandit gear during this time period, as well as increased populations of Badass Psychos in Lynchwood, Thousand Cuts and Eridium Blight. Gearbox will also be streaming gameplay of Krieg this coming Monday. You must be connected to the internet for these changes to occur in-game.

Happy hunting!

Krieg the Psycho releases on 14th May

image

After hacking into the ECHO feed, a Twitter account used by Gearbox to promote upcoming content for Borderlands 2, Krieg the Psycho himself announced that the DLC class will be released on 14th May.

The new character will cost $9.99/800 Microsoft Points. He can do all sorts; from toss dynamite in fight for your life mode, to throwing an axe at enemies and going berserk as his action skill.

Recent updates to the game have seen class mods for the Psycho class appear in the game, but of course these can’t be used until the character is out.

Who will be tackling Borderlands 2 once more as Krieg?

REMINDER: Krieg is not part of the game’s season pass.
